George Krakowski, 64, of Dupont, passed away Tuesday, January 26th at Geisinger CMC Hospital, Scranton. He was born in Dupont, April 17th, 1951 and was the son of the late George and Julia (Piechota) Krakowski.
George worked for the Leslie Fay Company for many years until it’s closing. He had a passion for gardening and was an avid billiards player. He also loved spending time in the outdoors. He will be deeply missed.
George is survived by his sons, George Krakowski and Thomas Krakowski and his wife, Carla; and his granddaughter Kayla Krakowski all of Dupont. Also surviving are his sisters, Theresa (Krakowski) Wilbur, Mary Antonello and her husband Joseph; and his nephew, Joseph Antonello and his girlfriend, Geraldine Harrity all from Dupont.
Friends are asked to join George’s family at the Dupont VFW, 401 Main St., Dupont on Saturday afternoon, January 30th from 2pm-4pm. To celebrate George’s life.
