Dawn Argenio


Dawn Argenio, 75, of Exeter, passed away Monday, March 21st at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. She was born in the Junction Section of Pittston January 26th, 1941 and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Catherine T. (Lucas) Girman.

Dawn was a member of SS Peter and Paul Church (Queen of the Apostles Parish), Avoca. She was a 1958 graduate of Duryea High School. A graduate of the Nesbitt Memorial School of Nursing and was also an employee of the Nesbitt Memorial Hospital. She also worked as a nurse for Dr. Carey, Carey and English Medical Practice in Edwardsville and retired from the Scranton Primary Healthcare Center, Scranton.

Dawn was a loving mother, sister and friend, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, James Coffee and her second husband, Paul Argenio.

She is survived by her son, James Coffee and his girlfriend, Ursula Cresci of Kingston and her sister, Diane and her husband, Jerry Coffee of Avoca. Also surviving are her two nephews, Jay and David Coffee, and great-nieces and nephews.

A blessing service will be held on Thursday, March 24th at 5:00pm at Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea with Deacon Jim Rose of Queen of the Apostles Parish Church officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-6pm. Private interment will be held on Friday at the Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton, PA.
