Warren Richard Bellas, 52, of Duryea, passed away Tuesday, May 24th. He was born in Duryea on May 21, 1964 and was the son of Patricia Cooper Bellas and the late George Michael Bellas.
Warren attended Pittston Area Schools. He worked for Duryea Auto Parts for the majority of his life. Warren enjoyed the outdoors, he loved to fish and camp. He especially loved to spend time with his grandchildren. His family was his life. Warren was a very generous man to his family and friends and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his nephew, David Cole.
He is survived by his children, Charlotte Ann Bellas of Clarks-Summit, George Michael Bellas of Forty Fort, and Kyle Justin Bellas of Forty Fort; his siblings, Michael of Pittston, Linda Bellas of Duryea, Wayne Bellas of Duryea, Deborah Bellas Rinker and her husband, Vernon of Plains, Kenneth and his wife, Lynn of Avoca, and Christopher George Bellas and his wife, Brenda of Olyphant. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Cameron Bellas, Anna Belko, Chloe Bellas, Christopher Bellas, Mia Bellas, Mason Bellas, Giovanni Bellas, Alessia Bellas, and Cailee Emily Bellas, who is due in September 2016.
Friends may call on Sunday evening, May 29th from 5-8pm at Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea. Interment services will be held Wednesday June 1st at 1:00pm at St. John’s Cemetery, Duryea with Fr. John V. Polednak of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea officiating.
