Alec Justin Lepka, 18, of Old Forge, passed away Sunday, June 5th. He was born in Avoca, December 5th, 1997 and was the son of Denise Moran Lepka Hatcher and Lee Richard Lepka.
He was a member of the Brick United Methodist Church, Duryea. Alec attended Pittston Area, Lehman, and Old Forge Schools.
Alec had a big heart and would do anything for people he truly cared for. He loved animals, riding dirt bikes, and video games. Alec had big dreams; he loved spending time with his mother and nanny. He loved listening to his music, which helped him relax. Right now Alec is in heaven with his grandfather fishing and at peace with himself and finally getting some calmness in his life. He will be deeply missed by family and friends especially his parents and his nanny.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Miranda Leigh Lepka; maternal grandmother, Margaret Moran; paternal grandmother, Christine Anderson; step-grandmother, Debbie Moran; his step-mom, Leah Lepka; and step-father, Chris Stalica.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Thomas Moran.
Funeral services will be held on Friday morning, June 10th at 10:30am at Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea with Rev. Alex Becker of the Langcliffe Primitive Methodist Church, Avoca officiating. Friends may call on Thursday evening, June 9th from 4-7pm.
