Charles J. Pucilowski, 58, of Avoca, passed away on Saturday, July 30th at his home. He was born in Avoca, March 15th, 1958 and was the son of Marlene (Werner) Pucilowski and the late Charles George Pucilowski.
Charles was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea, a 1976 graduate of Pittston Area High School and a graduate of Johnson Technical College, Scranton. Charles worked many years for Topps Chewing Gum and for Kurlancheek’s Furniture Store. Charles was very good with all things mechanical; he enjoyed working on classic cars and small engine repair. Charlie was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his partner of over 20 years, Julie Vosburg, who died on May 7th, 2012, and his nephew, Robert Charles Clark.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Diane Divecchia of Dupont and Ellen Clark and her husband, Barry Clark of Avoca. Also surviving are the children of Julie Vosburg, Gary, Scott, and Chris Vosburg; nieces and nephews, Heather Canfield, Nichole Divecchia, Amy Snook, Angelo Conforti, and Gianna Conforti; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are made by Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea.
