Michael “Micky” Homschek, 47, of Avoca, died on Sunday, September 4th at his home. Born in Avoca, March 21st, 1969, he was the son of the late Julius and Sarah “Sally” Singer Homschek.
Mickey was a graduate of Pittston Area High School.
He is survived by his siblings, James and David of Avoca, Mary Beth Sabitus, Old Boston, and Rodney of Avoca as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Hewitt.
A blessing service will be held on Saturday, September 10th at 11:30am at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Avoca with Deacon Jim Rose of Queen of the Apostles Parish officiating.
