Richard Osenkarski, 52, of Old Forge, passed away on Friday, December 23rd at his home from cardiac complications. He was born in Duryea, January 7th, 1964 and was the son of the late Charles and Marion (Gitkos) Osenkarski.
Richard attended Pittston Area High School and Wilkes-Barre VoTech. He worked for over 19 years for Main Tool and Machine Shop and was employed at Cascade Tissue for over 17 years. Richard was a member of the Duryea Polish Falcons.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Charles, Michael, and Edward Osenkarski.
He is survived by his loving companion of over 20 years, Tara Gorman; his daughters, Kristin Tetlak and her husband, David of Hughestown and Chelsea Osenkarski of Pittston; as well as his sister, Karen and her husband, Tom Korney of Duryea; and his beloved cats, Tim and Kitty.
A blessing service will be held on Thursday, December 29th at 11:00am at Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea with Fr. John Polednak of Nativity of Our Lord Parrish, Duryea officiating. Friends may call on Thursday morning, December 29th from 10:00am until time of service. Interment will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Duryea.
