Anna Marie (Darr) Perrins, formerly of Avoca, died Saturday, January 7th at the Linwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Scranton. She was born in Walnut Bottom, Pa., January 4th, 1934, and was the daughter of the late C. Melvin and Alice (Gleason) Darr.
She was a graduate of Avoca High School where she graduated in the top five of her class. She was a member of St. John Primitive Methodist Church in Avoca where she served as treasurer for many years.
Anna is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert Perrins, along with brother-in-law, sister–in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank Old Forge Manor and Linwood Nursing and Rehab Center for the great care they provided to Anna for the past year.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday evening, January 10th at 7:30pm at Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea with Rev. Thomas Duggen officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday evening, January 10th from 5pm until time of service. Interment will be held at the Oak Lawn Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre.
