Diane Roberts, of Duryea, passed away on June 29th, 2017 at her home. She was born in Duryea and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Charlotte Piontkowski Roberts.
Diane was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish, Duryea (Holy Rosary Church). She was a graduate of Duryea High School and Wilkes University. Diane retired from NY Telephone (Verizon) in Syracuse NY, where she worked in the engineering department and traveled extensively for her employment. She also enjoyed traveling for pleasure.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Attorney Joseph Roberts, Stanley Roberts, and David Roberts; and sister, Charlotte Roberts.
She is survived by her brothers, Jim C. Roberts and John Roberts; sisters, Margaret Roberts, Audrey Yager, Susan and husband, Michael Luks, and Betty and husband, Tom Yerrick.
A mass of Christian Burial was privately held on Monday, July 3rd with Fr. John V. Polednak of Nativity of Our Lord Parish officiating. Interment was held at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Duryea.
