Edward Gedrich, 78, formerly of Avoca, passed away on Thursday, September 14th at his home in Daleville. He was born June 23rd, 1939 and was the son of the late Henry and Leona (Rug) Gedrich.
Edward was a graduate of Avoca High School. He retired from Pope and Talbot Paper Company Inc. Edward was a versatile man who was highly skilled in the art of woodworking. He was kind and compassionate and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Edward is survived by his wife of 45 years, the former MaryAnn (Sworen) Gedrich and many cousins.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Henry Gedrich, who died on June 1st 2013.
Funeral services will be privately held at the convenience of the family. Internment will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Avoca.
