Kimberly (Killino) Kalina, 47, of Pittston passed away on Sunday, December 24th at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. She was born in Old Forge, March 24, 1970, and was the daughter of Mary Jo (Smigel) Killino and the late Benjamin Killino.
She was a graduate of Old Forge High School. Kim worked many years for Weis Market, Duryea. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 22 years, Daniel Kalina, her sons Daniel II and Matthew, both at home. Also surviving are her brothers, Ben Killino of Georgia and Dr. Kenneth Killino and wife Debby of Old Forge.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, December 29th at 9:30am at Nativity of Our Lord Parish Church, Stephenson St., Duryea with Fr. John V. Polednak officiating.
Friends may call for visitation on Thursday evening from 5-7 pm at Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the church for the mass. There will be no procession from the funeral home.
