Ryan Joseph Hughes, 20, of Dupont, passed away on Tuesday, January 2nd at his home. He was born in, Dupont, October 7th, 1997 and was the son of Kenneth J. Hughes and Maryann Navalany Hughes. Ryan attended Pittston Area High School.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Casey Hughes of Wilkes-Barre; brothers, Peter and Marcus Fuller of New Castle, PA; his stepfather, Peter Fuller of New Castle; paternal step-grandmother, Ruth Hughes; paternal step-grandfather, Frank Obitz; his beloved dog, Roxy; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Edwin and Marie Navalany and paternal grandparents, Robert Hughes Sr. and Geraldine Bennett.
A memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 6th at 3pm at Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea with Fr. Zbigniew Dawid of Holy Mother of Sorrows Polish National Catholic Church, Dupont officiating. Friends may call for visitation on Saturday, January 6th from 1pm until time of service.
