Jennie R. Rugletic, 92, of Duryea passed away on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Timber Ridge Nursing Center, Wilkes-Barre. She was born in Old Forge, March 27, 1925 and was the daughter of the late John and Casmira (Niemkiewicz) Rogalski.
Jennie was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish (Sacred Heart Church), Duryea. She was a graduate of Old Forge High School. Jennie was a loving and dedicated mother to her nine children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Rugletic, who died April 7, 2001 and her daughter, Charlotte Turkos, who died September 20th 2015; sisters; Anastasia Rishko, Helen Smicherko, Tessie Seeger, Bertha Wolinak, Sophie Rezykowski and Stella Lisowski
Jennie is survived by her children, Steven Rugletic and his wife Mary of Duryea, Ronald Rugletic and his wife Donna of West Wyoming, Patricia Soy and her husband John of Duryea, Janet Stasyszyn and her husband Nicholas of Duryea, Nancy Rugletic of Duryea, Michael Rugletic and his wife Karen of Clarks Summit, David Rugletic and his wife Kim of Duryea and Stephanie Chapman and her husband Mark of Cresco; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her brother, John Rogalski and his wife Beverly of Old Forge.
Funeral services will be privately held at the convenience of the family.
