William Chase, 71, of Duryea, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at his home. He was born in Duryea June 9th, 1947 and was the son of the late Stanley and Alberta (Ambrose) Chase.
Bill was a graduate of Duryea High School. Upon graduation he joined the US Marine Corp a served three tours during the Vietnam War. William worked as a master electrician for many local construction companies throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife Anna Mae (Rusinchak) Chase and his son Keith Chase and his fiancée Kisha Mitchell of Hanover Twp. Also surviving are his brother Stanley Chase and his wife Sharon of Old Forge, his grandchildren Stephen and Shelby, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 31, at 11:30am at Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea with Fr. John Polednak of Nativity of Our Lord Parish Church, Duryea officiating.
Friends may call for visitation on Tuesday morning July 31st from 10:30am until time of service. Interment will be held at the St. John’s Cemetery, Duryea with Military honors by the AMVET honor guard of Greater Pittston.
