Mariah Jillian Brennan


Mariah Jillian Brennan, 21, of Duryea, passed away on Friday, November 2nd at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Wilkes-Barre due to complications from a brain aneurysm. She was born in Duryea, April 8th, 1997 and was the daughter of Daniel Brennan and his companion Jennifer Kivak and her mother Jennifer (Slater) Warner and her companion Robert Schumaker as well as her step-father James Warner.

Mariah was a graduate of Pittston Area High School. She was a Duryea Wildcat cheerleader. She was a devoted mom to her daughter Aubree who was her pride and joy. Mariah loved working in the medical field and helping people in need. She was employed by Maxim Home Health Care as a personal care aid. Even after her work on earth was done, she was able to help give others the gift of life through organ donation. Mariah touched the lives of everyone she met and her selfless acts of love will forever be cherished.

She is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Linda Boline, maternal grandmother Linda Pradel, and maternal great-grandparents Martin and Shirley Webb.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her companion John Evans, her daughter Aubree Evans, and her siblings; Tianna, Tayler, Hailey, Cassidy, Allyson, Caleb, and Ashton. Also surviving are maternal grandfather George Pradel, maternal grandparents Jack and Diane Slater, paternal grandparents David and Betty Ann Chmiel, her niece and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may call on Wednesday evening, November 7th from 5-8pm at Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea. Private funeral services will be held on Thursday morning. Interment will be held at the Langcliffe Cemetery, Avoca.
