Theresa Ostrowski Tripus, 87, of Duryea died on Saturday, November 17th at the Highland Manor Nursing Home, Exeter. She was born in Avoca, April 15th, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary Ostrowski.
She was a member of Queen of the Apostles Parish Church, Avoca. She was a graduate of Avoca High School. She worked most of her life in the local garment industry and retired from Lori Dress, Pittston.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Czaja and brothers, Raymond, Edward, Norman, Frank, Joseph, Louis and Theodore Ostrowski.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeanette Volch of Duryea and Nancy Volch and her husband Michael of Old Forge; her brothers Eugene and Chester Ostrowski; and sisters Jean Stelma and Dolores Policare. Also surviving are her grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be privately held at the convenience of the family.
