A woman of extraordinary beauty, faith, humor, strength and grace - she leaves all those who loved her with cherished memories.
Her claim to fame was raising her 10 children. Her legacy lives on in our memories of her sitting under her dogwood tree singing Chiquita Banana, playing How Many Steps Before the Queen, and telling stories of her travels to Cuba, Austria, Switzerland, and England.
Our Lady of the Lake, crowned 1952, taught us how to walk tall, love unconditionally, and enjoy life’s simple pleasures.
We would like to thank all of our family, friends, and the medical professionals who cared for our mother at the end of her life.
