Ann Kudey

Ann Kudey, 83, of Old Forge, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. She was born in Old Forge on January 20, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Dancredo AKA “Johnson” Marinelli and Helen Marinelli.

Ann was a member of Prince of Peace Parish Church, Old Forge, where she was a very devoted and active member of the parish. She attended Old Forge Schools. Throughout her life, Ann worked in the food service industry, and retired from the Telespond Company where she worked as a personal care assistant.


In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson James Balchune.


Ann is survived by her children, Raymond and his wife Ann Marie Kudey, of Hughestown, Dana Balchune, of Dupont and Elizabeth Igneri, of Scranton. Also surviving are her sister Elizabeth

Glowacki, of Lackawanna, NY, eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren and nieces.


A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 12:00pm at Prince of Peace Parish Church, 123 W. Grace St., Old Forge with Fr. August Ricciardi officiating. Interment will be privately held at the Old Forge Cemetery, Old Forge. Family and friends that are attending the mass are strongly encouraged to abide by the CDC guidelines to take precautions and wear a facial mask when entering the church.
