Ann Twardowski

Ann Twardowski, 59, of Avoca, passed away at the home of her sister Susan and brother-in-law Michael Dudzick, where she resided and was lovingly cared for by them and her nephew Rich for over 35 years. She was born in Moosic, July 26, 1961 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Haduck) Twardowski.

Ann was a member of Queen of The Apostles Parish Church, Avoca. For many years, she attended Creating Unlimited Possibilities (CUP) in Wilkes-Barre.


Ann, our little angel, was a blessing who brought so much joy to everyone and will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.


In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Carol George, her brother Leonard Twardowski, and her brother-in-law Joseph Carden.


Ann is survived by her siblings Dolores Geklinsky, of Ashley, Frank and his wife Gina Twardowski, of Pittston, Susan and her husband Michael Dudzick, of Avoca, and Teresa “Terri” Carden, of Pittston. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.


Ann’s family would like to thank Dr. Guy Fasciana and his staff and also the nurses of Compassionate Care Hospice (Lisa, Nancy, Mona, Lori, Crystal, Betty, Dennis, Carol, Erin and Lisa) for their kindness

and loving care that they have shown to Ann over the last few months.


A mass of Christian burial will be privately held at Queen of The Apostles Parish Church, Avoca. Private interment to follow at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Avoca.


Arrangements are made by Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea.
