Anthony F. “Foxy” Ferretti, Jr.

Anthony F. “Foxy” Ferretti, Jr., 76, of Dupont passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, with his children by his side. Born on September 10, 1945, in Dupont, he was the son of the late Anthony and Dorothy Lukasik Ferretti, Sr.

Anthony was a graduate of St. John’s High School, Pittston. He worked for Leslie Fay for over 35 years, Pocono Downs and the Hub Store, Dupont. Anthony’s past time was hunting at Herb’s farm with his family and friends. He also enjoyed going to Pocono Downs to watch live horse racing Rain or shine, he always seemed to get there. He will be so deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.


In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandson, Rich Kuchinski, Jr. and his sister Donna and her husband Wally Shandra.


He is survived by his daughters; Denise Kuchinski, Dupont, Renee O’Donnell, Wilkes-Barre; his son Anthony and his wife Marie Ferretti, Dupont; grandchildren who he adored Pauly and his fiancé Summer, T.J., Andrea and husband Avi, and Rylee; great grandchildren: Colin, Casimir, Ava, Autumn, and Aura. Also surviving are his sisters Ann Marie and husband Mike Kusmierz, of Wylusing, Dorren and her husband Ron Natishan, of Luzerne; brothers: David Ferretti, of Dupont and Allen and his wife Patti Ferretti, of Pittston; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.


A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 11:00am at Queen of The Apostles Parish Church, 715 Hawthorne St., Avoca. Friends may call for visitation on Saturday morning at the church from 10am until time of mass. Interment will be privately held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Dupont.
