Catherine “Toots” (Guillorn) Casper

Catherine “Toots” (Guillorn) Casper, 100, passed away Wednesday, November 19 peacefully at home. She was born in Dupont on November 7, 1925, and was the daughter of Elizabeth and Michael Guillorn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Casper and son Ronald Casper, her brother William Guillorn and his wife Marion, sister Margaret Stalbird and her husband George, and her cousin Lil Hahn and husband Harold.

She is survived by her daughter Debbie Barone and husband Rick, granddaughter Erica Barone Pricci and husband Vince, and great grandson Vincie Pricci.

Special thanks to Toots’ caregivers, Ruth Ann, Carole, and Nancy, and to Holly and Makenzie from Hospice of the Sacred Heart. Their care helped Toots remain comfortable and happy in her home.

Also, special thanks to the family and friends who visited Toots on her 100^th birthday.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Church (Queen of the Apostles Parish), 715 Hawthorne Street, Avoca on Monday, November 24, at 10:00am. With Fr. Thomas Petro officiating.  There will be no public viewing.

Arrangements are made by Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea.
