Ceil Demming, 78, passed away on Tuesday, October 27th at her daughter’s home in Exeter, Pennsylvania surrounded by her family.
Born in Scranton, Ceil was the daughter of the late Frank and Celia (Sopkie) Krucar. She graduated from West Scranton High School in 1960.
Ceil raised her children in Montdale, PA before relocating to St. Augustine, Florida, where she resided for over 25 years. She returned to Pennsylvania in June 2020. Ceil worked in several retail boutiques in St. Augustine prior to her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting, ceramics and was an avid reader.
Ceil is survived by her children, Kim Olson and husband, Ed, Exeter, Pa; Lori Bergen and husband, Ron, Scranton, Pa; Edison and wife, Denise, Satsuma, Florida; and Scott and wife Laurel, Sherwood, Oregon. Ceil leaves behind five grandchildren, Melissa Stone and fiancée Brian Falzone, Shawn Stone, Melanie McHenry, Jacob Demming and Maddie Sills; her great-granddaughter, Isabella Falzone; nieces, nephews and numerous cousins and friends.
She will be deeply missed by everyone including her beloved fur baby, Molly.
In addition to her parents, Ceil was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank and Ronald, and a nephew Ronnie Krucar, Jr.
Services will be private. A memorial service will be held by her family and friends at a later date.
