Charles Jeffery Karichner, 56, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, July 10, 2021, at Allied Skilled Nursing Center, Meade St., Wilkes-Barre. He was born in Pittston, March 15, 1965 and was accepted into heaven by the loving arms of his parents the late Charles Joseph and Anna Mae (Moss) Karichner.
Charles, “Jeff”, as he was known by friends, was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved the outdoors, mechanics, his dog Odin, and most of all his family and friends. Jeff was formerly employed with Latona Trucking and Excavating Company, Pittston.
He is survived by his daughter Keri Karichner and fiancé Mark Chapman; his son Charles Karichner and fiancé Morghan Kelly; and grandchildren, Giavonna and Alex Chapman. Also surviving are his sister Cheryl Kurre and her husband Joesph Kurre; his companion, Laurie Stead; his ex-wife Ellen A. Maisano; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Friends may call for viewing on Tuesday evening, July 13, 2021, from 5pm-7pm at Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea. Interment
services will be held on Thursday July 15th at 10:00am at Memorial Shrine Cemetery West 8th St. Carverton, PA.
