David Dockett, 65, of Avoca passed away on March 24, 2023, at the Mountain View Care Center, Scranton with his sister by his side. Born on December 1, 1957, he was the son of the late Herbert and Agnes Faulend Dockett.
David was a graduate of Pittston Area High School and a member of the Brick United Methodist Church, Duryea.
He was employed by Mid-Way Tool and Dye as a machine operator until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and going to gun shows and gun shops. He also loved spending time with his cats.
He is survived by his sisters, Arlene Dockett and Joyce Dockett Stefanko, who will miss him more than words can say. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and so many great friends.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
