Dawn Michelle “Kinsey” Redington, 50, of Duryea, passed away on August 21, 2021, at her home. Born in Duryea on March 4, 1971, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Bernice (Balent) Redington.
Dawn was a member of St. John The Evangelist Parish Church, Pittston. She was a 1989 graduate of Pittston Area High School. Dawn worked as a self-employed truck driver, working for many local freight carriers for several years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouse Lucinda “Cindy” Kmitch and her brother Donald Redington, Jr.
She is survived by her niece Jessica Redington and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and her long-time companion friend of many years Robin Chivington.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, September 2nd at 6:30pm at Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea with family friend Rev. PhD. Philip Wanck officiating services. Friends may call for visitation on Thursday evening from 5pm until time of services. Interment will be held at St. John The Evangelist Cemetery, Pittston.
