Dennis J. Pesotini, 68, of Stroudsburg, passed away at his home on March 5, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Scranton on April 5, 1957, he was the son of the late Ronald F. “Butch” Pesotini and the late Clara S. (Bartocci) Pesotini.

Dennis attended grade school at Holy Rosary School in Duryea and was a graduate of Pittston Area High School, class of 1975.

He later graduated from the Community Medical Center in Scranton with a degree in Medical Imaging.  Dennis began his career at NPW Hospital in Wilkes-Barre as a CT Scan Supervisor. He later worked at Pocono Medical Center as a supervisor in Interventional Radiology, where he dedicated 38 years of service before retiring. There, he made many friends who were essentially one big work family.

Dennis took great pride in caring for his family, whom he loved beyond words. In addition to his family life, he participated in activities such as coaching his son in the East Stroudsburg Little League. He enjoyed being a part of work-related activities, including the Pocono Medical Center Bowling and Golf teams. Dennis loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Each year, he looked forward to his annual fishing trip with whom he shared with his son, father and brothers and close family friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived and loved deeply by his wife of 40 years, Robin Wall Pesotini; his children, Candice Pesotini and her fiancé James Shay, of Stroudsburg; Marla Determan and her husband, Joe, of Saylorsburg; and Dennis Pesotini Jr. and his companion Melissa Santiago, of Stroudsburg. He is survived by his grandchildren who also loved him dearly; Madison, Kaleb, Parker, Maverick, Joey, Medo, and Lincoln; his great granddaughter, Scarlett; his brothers, Ronald Pesotini Jr. and his wife Dawn, of Duryea and Leonard Pesotini and his wife, Deborah, of West Pittston; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, at 10:00 am at Nativity of Our Lord Parish Church, 127 Stephenson St., Duryea, with Fr. Michael Bryant officiating. Friends may call for visitation on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea. Interment will be held at the Marcy Cemetery, Duryea. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the church on Monday morning for the mass, as there will be no procession from the funeral home.

I am truly sorry to hear of Dennis’s passing. There is no one in the world like him. He is irreplaceable, a special person through and through. He had the sweetest, kindest words for everyone. Everyone was sweetie, dear or whatever he could say to make you feel special. I know you know how many lives he touched during his lifetime in this world. He will always be remembered and missed. I have many memories all the way back to his disco days. I hold them close to my broken heart. ❤️💔

Robin and kids, I am so, so sorry! 💔
