Dorothy Visniski Novak, 93, formally of Wyoming, passed away on May 24, 2025, at her home in Clermont, Florida. She was born in Moosic, November 02, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (Zygmunt) Visniski.

Dorothy was past member of Sacred Heart Of Jesus Church, Dupont. She was a graduate of North Pocono High School, and attended Misericordia college.
In her earlier years she worked as a nurse, then later became an accountant for Carter Rubber Company, Wilkes-Barre. She eventually joined her husband Henry in their home construction business, where she served as both the accountant and painter.
In retirement, Dorothy and her husband enjoyed spending time in Florida and going on many camping trips. In her later years, she found joy in solving puzzles and being surrounded by her family.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Joseph Novak, who passed away in 2023; her sisters, Josephine Bryk, Joanne Kuchinski, Louise Lukasik, and Regina Dvorscak; and her brothers, Alexander, Edward J., and Robert Visniski.
She is survived by her son, Robert Novak, and his wife Inger, of Greenwood, South Carolina; her beloved grandchildren, Andrew Novak, Heather Novak Pierfelice, and Matthew Novak. Also surviving is her brother Joseph Visniski, and his wife Fran, of Erie, PA, and many nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian will be held on Friday, August 8th, 2025, at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Of Jesus Church, 215 Lackawanna Ave. Dupont, with Fr. Thomas Petro, officiating. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
Arrangements are made by Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea.
