Edmund Lacomis, 83, of Dupont passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at Allied Services Hospice Center, Scranton. He was born in Dupont on June 2, 1938 and was the son of the late Stanley and Mary Serafin Lacomis.
His wife is the former Betty Francis Lacomis. They celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on November 14th 2021. Ed was a graduate of Dupont High School. After high school, he joined the US Navy. He retired from Tobyhanna Army Depot.
Ed loved the outdoors and fishing Lake Ontario and enjoyed gardening.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Helen Satkowski, of New Jersey and brothers, Stanley and Joseph Lacomis both of Suscon.
In addition to his wife Betty, he is survived by his sister Theresa Baritski and husband Frank and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his extended family Jack and Lori Hapersberger, his godson Zachary, Selena and Brandon Dolan and the light of his life, Rylee.
Edmund’s wife would like to thank Dr. Martin Moran and the staff at Allied Services Hospice Care in Scranton.
Funeral service will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
