Frank Michael (“Frankie”) Marriggi Jr., of Pittston, Pennsylvania, formerly of Avoca, passed away peacefully at his home on June 21, 2026.

Born on May 18th, 1981, Frank was the beloved son of Frank & Marybeth Cituk Marriggi. Frankie served his country with great honor in the USAF, including his service in Iraq. He was smart, honorable and beyond caring, and he took all of that with him in his dedication to his military services.

More than anything in this world, Frankie made his love for his family known. He was an amazing father. In his own words, “Serving my country was the second greatest thing I ever did and being your dad was the first.” His greatest joy was his daughter Isabella. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson and friend who valued everything.

Frankie found happiness in everything, from hunting at his family cabin to watching the Cowboys with his dad, and even spending time with his best dog, Sadie. To know Frank was to love him and we will never forget his big heart and all the memories created.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Isabella Marriggi; his loving parents, Frank & Marybeth Marriggi; his sisters, Amanda(Nick) & Laura Marriggi(Mike); his nieces, Meadow Marriggi and Viviana Marriggi Mansueto; his nephews, Maxwell Edwards, Levi Marriggi Emlaw, and Nicholas Marriggi; his great-niece, Paisley Bertocki; his grandfather, Eugene Marriggi; his aunts, uncles, and godparents, Maryellen & Gino Marriggi, Ed & Marie Donnelley, Jay & Katie Duffy, Godfather Dan Marriggi & partner Douglas; God mother Linda McAdarra, uncles Jack Cituk and Bob Cituk, along with many other cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.

Frankie is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mary Marriggi, and his maternal grandparents, Andrew & Joan Cituk.

Frankie’s time on this earth was cut far too short. His smile, love, kindness, and devotion will forever remain with us. His memories will remain with every story, cabin trip, pictures, and more.

Frank will be incredibly missed but never forgotten. He is still always with us.

May your final flight be peaceful, your mission complete, and your watch forever honored. Fly high, Airman. We have the watch now. We love you forever.

A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday July 10, 2026 at 11:00am at Our Lady Of The Eucharist Church 535 North Main St. Pittston, with Fr. Michael Bryant officiating.  Friends may call for visitation on Friday morning at the church from 10:00am until time of the mass.
