Genevieve “Genka” Dudek Aston, 82, of Dupont passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at the Kingston Rehab and Nursing Center, Kingston.
Heaven gained a beautiful angel, and the world lost the most amazing grandmother. She was born and raised in Dupont January 11, 1940 and was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Bisiadecki) Dudek.
Genevieve was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont. She was formerly employed by Leslie Fay; she was an extremely hard-working woman and always provided well for her two sons. Through many trials and tribulations, her main objective in life was taking good care of her sons, the late John and David Aston. She lived for her boys, and her pride and joy, her grandson Jonathan Aston.
In addition to her sons, she is preceded in death by her husband, John William Aston, Jr.; her brothers Joseph, Walter, Stanley, Frank, and her sister Marie Sworen who died May 26, 2022.
Genevieve is survived by her grandson, Jonathan and his companion, Katie Wynn, her daughter-in-law Sandra Aston, several nieces and nephews and her dog Levi.
A blessing service will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 11:30am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery with Fr. Thomas Petro of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont officiating.
