Genevieve “Jean” Mlodzienski Pramick

Genevieve “Jean” Mlodzienski Pramick, 96, of Dupont passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Allied Services Hospice Care Center, Wilkes-Barre. She was born in Dupont on November 28, 1925 and was the daughter of the late Walter and Catherine Nelepa Mlodzienski.

Jean was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont, where she was a member of the Alter and Rosary Society. She was a graduate of Dupont High School, and then worked in the local garment industry until her retirement.


Jean enjoyed her daily lottery scratch off tickets, traveling to area casinos with her daughter Marcia, shopping with her daughters, and her daily phone conversations with her friends. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family especially on holidays and family events. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.


In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Michael M. Pramick, Jr., who died June 13, 2011, as well as her five brothers and three sisters.


She is survived by her children: Ron and his wife Gildete “Jill”, of Suscon, Deborah and her husband

Tony Pisano, of Florida, Gary and his wife Barbara, of Clarks Summit, Mark and his wife Linda, of Gouldsboro and Marcia Pramick and her companion Ken Porzucek, of Pittston. Also surviving are her brother Edmund Mlodzienski and his wife Leona, of Duryea, her grandchildren, Marisa and husband Mike McKeown, Eric Pramick and his wife Mariah, Therese Pramick, David Pisano and his wife Jessica Gondela, James Pramick and his fiancé Mikenna Dudley, Brian Pramick and his fiancé Maren Masino and Danielle and her husband Michael Butera, great grandchildren: Lucas Pramick, James and Nicholas Pisano, Marlo June Pramick, and numerous nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be held Monday April 18, 2022, at 11:00am from Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea with a mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 215 Lackawanna Ave., Dupont with Fr. Thomas Petro officiating. Friends may call Monday morning April 18, from 9am until time of service. Interment will be held at the Parish Cemetery.


Jean’s Family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. Martin Moran and staff for the excellent care they gave to Jean over the years.
