Gerald A. Benner

Gerald A. Benner, 61, of Duryea, PA passed away peacefully on the morning of April 3, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Paterson, NJ on September 12, 1959 and was the beloved son of the late Gerald I. and Jessie (Benner) Aumick of Milford, PA.

Gerald graduated from Garfield High School in Garfield, NJ. He went on to work close to 30 years of his life as a truck driver and the last 10 years self-employed, but his greatest accomplishment was being a devoted family man. He truly was the rock of the family!

Gerald was a dedicated and loving husband, father, Pop-Pop, son and brother. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Della (Halupka) Benner and his adoring children: Jessica Palminteri and her husband Matt of Monroe,GA, Marlana Benner of Duryea,PA, Jeri-Lynn and Steve Young of Dingmans Ferry, PA, Tamara

3 months without you Dad and not a day goes by I don’t wish you were still here, sometimes I just go into the garage and think I’m going to find you in there fixing or building something. I miss you so much ❤️
