Helen Klepadlo Lengle, 71, of Avoca, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 8th, 2023, at her home. She was born in Taylor, April 4th, 1951, and was the daughter of the late Stanley and Isabell Edwards Klepadlo.
Helen was a graduate of Pittston Area High School, class of 1969. She retired from Topps Chewing Gum with 40 years of employment.
Helen loved all animals, especially her 2 dogs Boots and Ziva, in addition to her many cats. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouse Cathy A. Lengle Klepadlo, who died March 21, 2022.
Helen is survived by her sisters; Margaret Timlin, of Avoca, Joanne Donnelly, of Taylor, Andrea Klepadlo, of Avoca, Cindy Klepadlo of Avoca, Susan Tapia, of Pittston and Jackie Klepadlo, of Duryea. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 6:45pm at Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea, with Fr. Phillip Sladicka of Queen of The Apostles Parish Church, Avoca, officiating. Friends may call for visitation on Tuesday evening from 5pm until the time of service.
