Helena M. Oliver, 90, of Avoca, passed away peacefully on October 9th in the home in which she was born. She was a good and faithful follower of God and lived a very full life.
Born on October 31st, 1932 to the late William Odgers and Helen Bennett Odgers in Avoca, she attended and graduated from Avoca High School. She worked as an office clerk in various jobs until her retirement.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clyde, sisters Myrtie Manning, and Irene Rutledge, an infant daughter Gail, her grandson Kenneth Jones and son-in-law Toney Faulk.
Surviving are her daughters, Lynn Faulk and fiancé Edward Herron III, Susan Kochis and husband Anthony, Kathy Jones and husband Robert, grandchildren William Faulk, Alexandra Kochis, and Abbie Jones, great granddaughter, Elizabeth DeSanto who loved her forever and ever.
As per her wishes, the immediate family will mourn in prayer and celebrate her life in private.
