Irene (Broda) Dudeck, 83, of Jenkins Twp., passed away on Sunday, December 1st, 2024, at Allied Hospice, Wilkes-Barre. She was born in Sugar Notch on December 30, 1940, and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Teresa Grabowski Broda.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Stanley Dudeck, who died August 15, ; her daughter Debra Costello; and siblings Josephine Grucella, Andrew Broda, Eugene “Gene” Broda and Henry Broda.
She is survived by her son Michael Dudeck, at home who was his parent’s primary caregiver for 6 ½ years, daughter Michelle Donato and her husband Tom, of Plains, son David Dudeck, and his wife Beth, of Swoyersville, grandchildren, Amy Aldrich and husband Andy, Alissa Costello, Thomas Donato and his wife Leah, and Marc Donato and his wife Erin, great-grandchildren, Austin, Addison and Ayden Aldrich. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews, and her grand puppies “Bella and “Toby”.
Irene’s son Michael would like to extend a special thank you to Irene’s niece Carolyn Loiacono for her help and care for the last 3 ½ years, and also the many neighbors and friends.
Funeral arrangements will be privately held.
