James M. Bagosy, 61, of Duryea, passed away on November 7, 2025, at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital surrounded by his loved ones. Born on October 1, 1964, he was the son of the late Peter and Jessie (Guyler) Bagosy.

Jim was a proud graduate of Coughlin High School in Wilkes-Barre. He recently retired from Golden Technologies in Duryea, where he was a dedicated and valued employee for over 30 years. Jim was also a social member of the Duryea VFW Post 1227.
Jim had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone in need. A lifelong, die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan, he also enjoyed collecting clocks, advertisement signs and model trains. When he wasn’t tinkering with his collections, you could find Jim at home cooking or smoking something delicious on his grill.
He is survived by his loving companion of five years, Linda Weitz of Duryea; Alan Weitz, Crystal Williams, Maria Orme and her husband Mike Orme. He will be deeply missed by his dear friends James Demich, Chris Reedy, John George, and John Gula along with many beloved grandchildren and his beloved cat Sylvester.
Jim will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and the love he shared with everyone fortunate enough to know him.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 6:30pm at Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea with Fr. Michael Bryant of Nativity of Our Lord Parish Church, officiating. Friends may call for visitation from 5:00pm until time of service.

Jimmy, may your soul and and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace. I remember we became friends through the Taft brothers getting inducted to join you in the A-Hole corner at the VFW Post 1227 Duryea, Pa. 25 years ago. We had the best location. We had great conversations and lots of laughs and great memories. Your presence will be sadly missed. R.I.P. Jimmy🙏🙏🙏🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅
Jimmy, what a shock it was to hear of your passing, I have so many fond memories of working with you for years and hanging out together, the funniest memory we have is when we went camping and it poured down rain the first night just as we finished putting the tents up, the tents got flooded out so we figured we would stand on the picnic table under the screen tent and make dinner and all was fine until the grill flaired up and John turned around to get it out from under the screen room and the flames started the as screen room on fire ! So there went our only dry spot, we just all stood there…
