James P. McLaughlin, of Springbrook Township, passed away peacefully at home on October 5th, 2022. He was born in Scranton February 19, 1946, and was the son of the late James P. McLaughlin and Elsie Hughes McLaughlin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his dear wife Florence Timinski McLaughlin, who died September 9, 2019; his brother John; and sisters Patricia, Mary Alice, and Jane.
He is survived by his son John, daughter-in-law Nora, and his treasured grandson Jack.
He had a warm heart, open arms, helping hands, and a wonderful sense of humor. His great presence will be missed by all.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 21st at 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery in Dupont with Fr. Thomas Petro of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish Church officiating along with the AMVETS Honor Guard of Greater Pittston providing military honors.
