Jeanette (Salerno) Moluski Colwell, 82, of Duryea, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021, at her home. She was born in Old Forge, June 6th, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Louis (Duce) and Sophie Zaleski Salerno.
Jeanette was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish Church, Duryea. She was a graduate of Old Forge High School. Jeanette retired as a seamstress from the local garment industry. She enjoyed going out with her family and friends and supporting local live music. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Moluski, and her husband Bill Colwell.
Jeanette is survived by her daughter Robyn Trombly with whom she resided and David Trombly, Duryea; her sons Bobby Moluski and Lori Cadora, of Hughestown and Bruce Moluski and his wife Charlotte, of Duryea; her sister Jackie Barbetti, of Old Forge; her 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Blessing services will take place on Friday, December 10th with Deacon Andre Kabacinski of
Nativity of Our Lord Parish Church, Duryea officiating. Friends may call for visitation on Friday, December 10th from 6pm-9pm at Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea.
Jeanette was a lover of all animals, thus, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Luzerne County SPCA, 524 E. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
