Jennifer “Ginger” Milligan, 59, of Harvey’s Lake, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, June 15th at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital. She was born in Miami, FL on December 20, 1964, and was the daughter of Carmen Caroach and the late Victoria Ensel Leyc.
Ginger was a member of the Church of the Ladder Day Saints, Trucksville. She was a graduate of Bound Brook High School, New Jersey. She then attended the Fortis Institute of Nursing. She worked many years in the state of New Jersey as a nurse and worked locally with home health and hospice.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, William G. Milligan, her son Joseph Kinney, her siblings, Donna Dodge, Ann Christine, and Nick Leyc.
In addition to her father, she is survived by her daughters; Selena Milligan, of Harvey’s Lake, and Heather Hopkins of Brazil, grandchildren Natalia Kinney and Milah Kinney. Also surviving are her siblings; James Randall, of NJ, David LaDell, of NC, Rebekah Caroach of Forty Fort, Jessica Leyc, of Wilkes-Barre and Victoria Leyc Shaw, of Kingston and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services for Ginger will be held at the convenience of the family.
