Jill Ann Stalbird, maiden name Gardiner, formerly Tokash, age 59, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Geisinger CMC Hospital Scranton due to an ongoing illness. She was born on February 27, 1965 in Norristown, PA and was the daughter of Joyce Gardiner and the late David Gardiner.
Jill was a graduate of Coughlin High School, class of 1983. She worked alongside her parents in a family owned business. Jill went on to become a stay at home mother and dedicated grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, painting, butterflies, lighthouses, the color purple, anime shows, and the bands A-Ha and Coldplay.
In addition to her mother, Jill is survived by her husband James M Stalbird, they raised their five children Michel Stalbird and fiancé Leahruth Saavedra, Matt Stalbird, Devin Tokash and spouse Lauren Tokash, Kara Erfman and spouse Jerrit Erfman, and James D. Stalbird: her brother David P. Gardiner and spouse Nikki Gardiner. Jill was a proud grandmother to Willow and Vada Erfman, Vera and Nora Tokash, and Jaxon Stalbird. Jill was also a proud aunt to Benjamin and Luke Gardiner.
Private services will be held for family only. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association in honor of her father David Gardiner.
