Kathy (Romanko) Drouse, 62, of Avoca, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. She was born in Jenkins Twp. on June 5, 1958 and was the daughter of the late Casey and Marie (Carlin) Ostrowski.
Kathy was a member of Queen of The Apostles Parish Church, Avoca. She attended Pittston Area High School and then worked for many years in local area factories. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Daniel and David Romanko.
She is survived by her son Daniel Drouse of Scranton, her daughter April Wanalista of Avoca, and her longtime companion John Wanalista. Also surviving is her twin sister Karen Kozak of Avoca and sisters Gail Volch of Swoyersville, and Lynn Bennie of Wilkes-Barre and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be privately and held at the convenience of the family.
