Kevin McCracken, 64, of Hughestown, passed away on Monday November 18, 2024, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. He was born in Pittston, August 5th, 1960, and was the son of the late Lawson and Mae (Lumley) McCracken.
Kevin was a graduate of Pittston Area High School class of 1978 he was currently employed at Pride Mobility for 15 years and prior to his employment at Pride he worked for Keystone Automotive with 30 years of employment.
He was a member of the Emanon Country Club, and the VFW Post 1227, Duryea. Kevin was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed Hunting, the game of Golf and was a member of a traveling Dart League. Kevin was also a Lawn specialist that enjoyed taking great care of his yard and was always willing to take care of his neighbors’ lawns when in need. He was a loving husband to his wife Ganella (Puscavage) McCracken, they had celebrated their 35th wedding Anniversary in May of 2024. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Walter McCracken.
He is survived by his wife Ganella and his fur son, Hunter. Also surviving is his brother-in-law Thomas Puscavage, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Avoca, nieces, Dr. April Troy and husband Brad, Annika Lien, his nephew, Alexander Lien, great nephews, Connor and Noah Troy, his brother by choice, Bill Vischansky and many cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday morning, November 22nd at 9am at Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea, with Rev. Bill Brodbeck officiating. Friends may call for visitation at the funeral home on Thursday evening, November 21st from 5pm-7pm. Interment will be held at the Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Shavertown.
Very sorry to hear of Kevin’s passing. He was a good friend of my brother growing up and especially when they were out of high school. Prayers to his wife and family.🙏🙏🙏
