Leroy Webb, Jr., 62, of Duryea, passed away on Monday, December 6th, 2021, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. He was born in Coxton on April 24, 1959 and was the son of the late Leroy and Carole R. (Beck) Webb.
Leroy was a graduate of Pittston Area High School. He worked many years for Sears, Inc. in Hanover Twp. He was a social member of the Duryea VFW Post 1227, the Duryea American Legion Post 585, the Polish Falcons Club of Duryea, and the Polish American Club of Hudson.
Leroy was a kind, generous, and compassionate well-read man, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Rosalie Waterfield and his granddaughter, Harper Grace Webb.
Leroy is survived by his sons, Phillip Webb and his wife Amber of Luzerne, and Samuel and Ross Webb, both of Pittston; his sister Carole L. Webb and her husband Art, of Coxton; and brothers Kenneth of Wilkes-Barre and Daniel of Boston. Also surviving are his pride in joy, his grandchildren, Savannah, Zachary, Makenzi, Raegan, and Gabriella Webb; his longtime companion, Joyce Shields; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 11th with Rev. James Lamoreaux officiating. Friends may call for visitation on Saturday from 2-4pm at Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea. Interment will take place at a later date.
