Lester F. Gordon Jr., 62, of Hughestown, passed away unexpectedly on April 14, 2021 at his home. He was born in Hughestown, May 9, 1958 and was the son of the late Lester F. Gordon Sr. and Irene (Smigelski) Gordon.
Lester was a 1976 graduate of Pittston Area High School. Prior to its closing, Lester was employed by Cascades Paper Products, Ransom for close to 40 years.
He was a very kind and generous man who enjoyed spending his time with his family his friends, and Danielle. Lester enjoyed walking; he walked daily, from his home to Redner’s grocery store, the Pittston Diner, and often he would walk from his home to Duryea. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Lester is survived by his sister, Joann Blauer and her husband David, his nephews Robert and David Blauer, and many cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be privately held at the convenience of the family.
