Loretta Gayda, 93, of Dupont, passed away on September 8, 2021 at the Riverside Health and Rehab Center, Taylor, where she was a resident. She was born in Dupont, February 7, 2021 and was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Bednash) Wozniak.
Loretta was a member of Holy Mother of Sorrows Polish National Catholic Church, Dupont. She was a 1945 graduate of Dupont High School and was an accomplished seamstress. She retired from Center Fashions, Dupont after several years of employment.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Stephen Gayda, who passed away in 1989, her son Frank Gayda, and daughter-in-law Bonnie Gayda.
Loretta is survived by her sisters; Florence Sibliski, of Cranford, NJ, and Elizabeth “Betty” Pierantoni, of Avoca, grandchildren; Melissa Kubulis and her husband Ryan and Stacy Cali and her husband Brian.
Great grandchildren; Nyah, Harrison, and Makenna Kubulis and Madison Cali. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews; Judge Fred Pierantoni III, Mary Ann Pierantoni Cappelloni, Barbara Muccia, and Jay Sibliski. Great nieces and nephews and nephews; Fred and Matt Pierantoni, Robert and Elizabeth Cappelloni, Joseph Muccia, Lisa Hayeck and Stephanie Feuerschwenger and her beloved friend and aid Debbie Korea.
Private family funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held at Holy Mother of Sorrows Polish National Cemetery, Dupont.
