Lorraine Sitnick, 84, of Dupont, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023, at the Gardens at East Mountain Nursing and Care Center, Wilkes-Barre. She was born in Dupont on October 15, 1938, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julianne Lukasiewiez Serafin.
Lorraine was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont. She attended Dupont schools and worked for several years as a seamstress at Pittston Apparel.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Sitnick and her brothers Wally and Ronald Serafin.
She is survived by her sisters; Aldona Gemzik and Elaine Sitnick and her husband Andy; her brother Joseph Serafin; and many nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held on Monday, February 13, 2023. Arrangements are
made by Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea.
