Louis Bartoli, 85, of Pittston, passed away on Tuesday May 9, 2023, at Serenity Care Personal Care Center, Wyoming. He was born in Pittston on October 9, 1937, and was the son of the late John and Mary Bartolotto Bartoli.
Louis was a graduate of Pittston High School. He then served with the U.S. Navy Reserve. Louis worked as a part time police officer for the Falls Police Department and the Harding Police Department while working for Insalaco Supermarkets and then retired from US Hydrations.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Ethel Owens Bartoli, who died June 22, 2012; his brother Ben Bartoli; and sister Tina Laskowski.
Louis is survived by his sons, John, and his wife Jolyn, of Pittston; Louis and his wife Mary Ann, of Falls; David and his wife Alura, of West Pittston; and Jason and his wife Ashley of Tamaqua as well as grandchildren Alanna, Jamie, Jessica, Joshua, Allie, Nicholas, and Andrew. Also surviving are his brother John and his wife Shelly, his sister Rosemary, many great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Serenity Care Personal Care Center for their excellent care and compassion.
Funeral services will be privately held at the convenience of the family.
