Louis M. Pasquariello, 70, of Old Forge, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday August 19, 2025. Born in Pittston on October 10, 1954, he was the son of the late Michael A. Pasquariello and Doris Radcliff Pasquariello.

Louis was a proud graduate of St. John The Evangelist High School, Class of 1972, and later earned his associate’s degree in business from Lackawanna County Jr. College.
Louis’s passing has left his family and friends heartbroken. Louis was a loving and caring husband to his wife Mercita and a loving brother and uncle to his family. Those who knew Louie will remember him for his uncanny sense of humor, his kind heart and unwavering love for his family and friends. Louie found joy in reading the New York Post, playing the lottery, decorating his deck area with lights and going to the Cinemark Theater.
In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Winters, and his brother, Michael A. Pasquariello.
Louis is survived by his wife of 43 years Mercita Patte Pasquariello. Also surviving are his sisters, Antoinette Ragnacci, and her husband Robert, of Dunmore; Margaret Ley of Pittston; and Jeanell Romanini of Clarks Summit, and many nieces and nephews who cherished him.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Street Cats and Dogs Inc. of Nay Aug Zoo c/o 1900 E. Gibson St. Scranton, PA. 18510.

#Pasquariello
To Louis's wife and family,
I graduated with Louis. I don't know anyone who didn't like him. Even though we graduated over 50 years ago, my memories of him as a fun guy, and kind, remains. My sympathy to his wife of 43 years (an accomplishment in this day and age), and wife.
Sincerely,
Marion
Mercita,
