Louise M. Karp, 86, of Glendale, passed away on Saturday June 25, 2022 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Moosic, August 25, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Kaltynski Lencheski.
Louise was a member of the Springbrook Congregational Church, Springbrook. She was a Graduate of Moosic High School, class of 1953. She worked many years for Fuel Gas Corp. and retired as an office manager for the Honesdale Gas Company with over 28 years of employment. She was a loving wife, stepmother, sister, aunt and friend and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Louise is survived by her husband Edward W. Karp, her stepdaughter Ruth Mierzwa, of Nanticoke and her brother, Casmir Lencheski and his wife Rosemary, of North Carolnia. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon, July 2nd at 1:30pm at the Springbrook Congregational Church, 213 Beech Rd., Springbrook with Pastor Doug Littleton, officiating. Friends may call on Saturday morning, July 2nd from 10am-12pm at Kiesinger Funeral Services, Inc.,
255 McAlpine St., Duryea and from 12:45pm -1:30pm at the church. Interment will be held at the Springbrook Cemetery, Springbrook.
