Madhuben H. Patel

Madhuben H. Patel, age 73, of Duryea, peacefully passed away at her home on April 14, 2026. Born on June 1, 1952, in Bill, Gujarat, India, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ambalal Patel and the late Sharda Patel.

Madhuben completed her secondary school education in India. She later married her husband, the late Haresh Kumar Patel, and devoted herself to raising her family as a homemaker for many years. In 1995, she immigrated to the United States, where she was employed by the Letica Corporation from 1995 until 2021. Madhuben was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and she will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Madhuben was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Haresh Kumar Patel, and her dearly loved son, Sheilesh Patel.

She is survived by her son, Dharmesh Patel, and his wife, Anjanabahen, of Duryea; her cherished grandchildren, Krishna S. Patel and Om S. Patel; her sister, Ranjan Patel, of Virginia; and her brothers, Suman A. Patel of Moosic, Ashok Patel of New Jersey, and Pravin Patel of Virginia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Antyesti (Hindu funeral rites) will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine Street, Duryea. Cremation will follow at Sunlight Crematory, 628 Nanticoke Street, Hanover Township, in accordance with Hindu tradition.
